Allergy prevention in high risk infants: 2021 updates

Dr Liew graduated from National University of Singapore, School of Medicine in 1997. He went on to complete his speciality training in Paediatric Medicine, sub-speciality training in Paediatric Allergy, Immunology and Rheumatology at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH). In 2007, Dr Liew received MOH HMDP award to do advanced training in Paediatric Allergy, Immunology and Rheumatology at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne. Upon his return, he served as a consultant paediatrician in both the allergy service and rheumatology/immunology service at KKH. At the present time, he continues to be a visiting consultant at KKH. Additionally, Dr Liew is passionate about medical education and was appointed an adjunct assistant professor in Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School and Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. He is also active in his professional and academic pursuit. He is the Past-President of the College of Paediatrics and Child Health Singapore, of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore, and continues to engage MOH for Paediatric matters. He is also the Executive Board member of Asia Pacific Society for Primary Immunodeficiency, and Vice-President of Allergy Clinical Immunology Society (Singapore).
