Normally, assessment of dietary intake is used in considering the intake of an individual's food and nutrient intake but have you ever considered the fact that assessment of dietary intake can be applied on a broader scale? Join Professor Iain as he introduces how "diet quality" assessments can be used to evaluate the population's adherence to notional ideals of intake eg. food based dietary guidelines and to answer more complex questions such as the effectiveness of the intervention on dietary habit on a population level.
