Type 2 diabetes (T2DM) remains a major public health challenge in Singapore, with prevalence rising from 8.8% in 2017 to 9.1% in 2022. Despite ongoing efforts such as the “War on Diabetes,” many patients still fail to meet glycemic targets. Diabetes-Specific Formula (DSF) remains underutilized despite evidence supporting its role in calorie control, adherence, and improved glycemic and weight outcomes. This CME session will highlight the importance of evidence-based structured interventions, including DSF, alongside multidisciplinary care approaches to improve patient outcomes. Agenda: - Overview of T2DM challenges in Singapore; - Role of Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT); - Evidence and application of Diabetes-Specific Formula (DSF); - Structured intervention strategies; - Multidisciplinary care approaches; - Expert sharing session Event Fee: TBC
